Create or open the correct GA4 web data stream in Google Analytics. Copy the Measurement ID that begins with G-, or use the complete Google tag when the connection screen accepts it.
Save the setting, visit the public website in a separate browser window, and check the Google Analytics Realtime report. New tracking can take time to appear in standard reports.
